The key event that Naše Zálesíčko proudly organizes is the festival Záleská divadelná púť (”Theatre fair of Zálesie”, sounds much better in Slovak language though :).
Záleská divadelná púť is a theatrical art festival of small professional theaters, especially those dedicated to children and youth.
Festival “Záleská divadelná púť” is an event opened to all cultural activities and art genres. Theater serves as a bridge between all art disciplines – literature, fine arts, dramatic art and music.
Festival mission is to spread theatrical culture, preservation of cultural heritage, creation of cultural tradition and development of interest and motivation in cultural values especially within children and youth. Festival aims for quality theatrical art and art in general to become natural part of life already at young age and thanks to this also to address adults (parents and grandparents). Festival meaning is to teach young viewer in playful way to sense more demanding genres, so they could stand up in competition with easy commercial everyday mainstream content.
Event brings every year to Zálesie amazing atmosphere, introduces and connects villagers and contributes to development of community life. It is place, where joy cumulates and good mood is a source of pleasant experiences and creates great opportunity to spend time in meaningful way.
Every single of last 10 years, always at the last weekend of August, together with around 6000 attendees per year and dozens of performers, we have been celebrating theater, music, arts, crafts and literature in a unique international festival especially focusing on children and young people.
For 2021, we have already began preparing festival’s 11th season.
